I do need another one of those turbo belt and I need to remove the rust from the 2nd main pulley, but my turbo won’t slip anymore!
It took me forever to find the motivation to install this thing, but I really HAD to change the belt... A couple more accelerations and it would have most certainly broken lol

Why do people keep saying the BRZ needs a Turbo? I mean...it’s right there. Are they blind?

Yup be carful running one belt. When I bought my s4 it had a dual pulley with one belt and the water pump slipped at high rpms. Went to Napa and got a matched set after and it was fine.
Try to get a matched set tho I tried just ordering two of the same belt but could never get the tension right.
Never put a dual pulley on my s5 as I need the airpump to control the 5/6 ports.

Yeah it’s actually an old belt that I use as spare if necessary. Buying 2 new belts now, but buying parts locally in Japan is not very easy as very few people do their own wrenching. So in the meantime, this one will have to do :)
It’s a 12a turbo so it originally has an anti pollution unit that would run with the “airpump pulley”. It wasn’t removed, but it’s not used so I have the free space. Will delete it later...

That's not a turbo. It's an early hybrid battery regen system. Battery starts the car, the power from the motor recharges the battery. Just like a Fisker. You're lucky, that's a rare setup.
